Sensor Networks and their Applications

CALL FOR PAPERS

Session on Sensor Networks and their Applications

Overview:

This session deals with new technologies for Sensor Networks and Their Applications. Currently Sensor networks have been one of the hottest research topics in the world. Researchers address sensor network protocols, Security issues, sensing area coverage, and so on and their applications including environmental monitoring, Physiological data sensing, event detection and control, and healthcare applications. This session would like invite researchers who are working on sensor-related studies to submit their papers. Topics of interests include, but are not limited to:

  • Communication protocols for Sensor Networks
  • Sensor Network Security, privacy, and data integrity
  • Wireless sensor network
  • Novel Architectures for Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks
  • Localization and Synchronization in Sensor Networks
  • Fault tolerance and diagnostics for Sensor Networks
  • Sensor Network Performance Analysis and Routing
  • Sensor mobility and task Coordination
  • Resource Management for Sensor Networks
  • Sensor Networks for Healthcare

Submissions:

Papers are invited from prospective authors with interest on the related areas. Each paper should follow the Springer - Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing (AISC, http://www.springer.com/series/11156) format with title, author's names, affiliation, email addresses, abstract at least 70 and at most 150 words, and a one-column body with single-spaced 10 pages at most and with font size at 10. The attachment includes author guidelines and template. All papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format only and be mailed to: Prof. Fang-Yie Leu e-mail:leufy@thu.edu.tw

Important Dates:

Deadline for paper submission: 2014-02-10   extended to 2014-03-17
Notification of acceptance: 2014-02-28   extended to 2014-03-20
Deadline for camera-ready manuscript submission: 2014-03-01   extended to 2014-03-28

CMCSN proceedings is working to be published by Springer-Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing (AISC) which is typically indexed by IET INSPEC, EI (Compendex), Thomson ISTP, and DBLP. Exceptional quality papers will also be invited for further extension, and be considered for publication on journals and book series that are strongly associated with the conference series.
