Author Guide

Dear Contributing Authors,

We are grateful to your contributions to to CMCSN 2014 .
The online Information for Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing(AISC) Authors from Springer has detailed instructions and related files for authors in the preparation of camera-ready manuscripts and copyright forms.
This Author Guide contains additional information on how to submit your camera-ready manuscripts and copyright forms to CMCSN 2014.
You are kindly reminded with the following issues:

1. Important Due Dates

  • Due date for camera-ready manuscript: March 25, 2014. extended to March 28, 2014.
  • Due date for copyright form: March 25, 2014. extended to March 28, 2014.
  • Due date for registration: March 25, 2014. extended to March 28, 2014.

2. Paper Formatting

  • For each paper, there is a 10-page limitation, including all figures, tables, and references and all figures should be in high resolution. Authors will be allowed 2 extra pages at a cost of USD $100 per additional page.
  • The detailed specification of the paper format are given in the following templates:
       a. LaTeX2e: CMCSN-2014 typeinst.zip and CMCSN-2014/llncs2e.zip
       b. Word 2003: CMCSN-2014 word.zip or CMCSN-2014 Word.dot
  • Please do use above templates directly in the formatting of your camera-ready manuscripts. If possible, we prefer to use the Word template for our editing.

3. Camera-Ready Manuscript

  • The Springer demands BOTH source files (LaTeX source files, *.tex, *.eps or Word, *.doc, etc.) and pdf file (Portable Document Format) in the proceedings editing. And all figures should be in high resolution.
  • Please place the pdf file and all required source files for your camera-ready manuscript in the same directory and compress them into a single compressed file in zip format.
  • For Regular paper, please use your assigned Paper ID No. in the naming of your camera-ready manuscripts, such as CMCSN-2014-0001.zip.
  • For Session paper, please use your assigned Paper ID No. by your Session Organizers in the naming of your camera-ready manuscripts, such as CMCSN-2014-S101.zip.
  • For Regular paper, please send your camera-ready manuscripts directly to CMCSN's E-mail cmcsn@thu.edu.tw by March 25, 2014. extended to March 28, 2014.
  • For Session paper, please send your camera-ready manuscripts directly to your Session Organizers' E-mail AND CMCSN's E-mail cmcsn@thu.edu.tw by March 25, 2014. extended to March 28, 2014.

4. Copyright Form

  • A signed copyright form is required for your papers to be included in the conference proceedings.
  • Please download and print out the copyright form: CMCSN-Copyright_Form.pdf
  • Please fill in related fields and sign it.
    a. Title of the Book/Volume/Conference: The Second International Conference on Computing, Measurement, Control and Sensor Network.
    b. Volume Editor(s): Dieter Merkle, Ajith Abraham, Huang-Nan Huang, Jeng-Shyang Pan, Alexander Großmann
  • Please scan the signed copyright release form and convert it into pdf.
  • For Regular paper, please use your assigned Paper ID No. in the naming of your signed copyright forms, such as CMCSN-2014-0001-cf.pdf
  • For Session paper, please use your assigned Paper ID No. by your Session Organizers in the naming of your signed copyright forms, such as CMCSN-2014-S101-cf.pdf
  • For Regular paper, please send your signed copyright forms directly to CMCSN's E-mail cmcsn@thu.edu.tw by March 25, 2014. extended to March 28, 2014.
